Yes! We're fur-baby parents too, so we love opening up our home to fellow pet lovers. We happily welcome up to two pets and provide a large dog bed, waste bags, plus food and water bowls, so there's no need to pack the essentials.

Yes. The full 20-acre property is fenced, offering additional privacy and peace of mind for families and guests travelling with dogs. However, children and pets should still be supervised due to the pool, natural desert terrain and local wildlife.

Yes. The in-ground spa is available throughout the year and typically takes around 20 minutes to reach the desired temperature.

Yes. You’ll have exclusive use of the house, pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, fire pits and all 20 acres. None of the amenities or outdoor spaces are shared.

Absolutely. Families love the pool, expansive outdoor spaces, board games and freedom of the fully fenced property. We also provide a high chair. The pool has an automatic safety cover for added peace of mind, and we recommend keeping it closed whenever the pool is not in use.

Casa Del Rio accommodates a maximum of six guests. There is a king bedroom, a queen bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The sofa bed is best suited to children or two smaller adults.

We’re approximately 10 minutes from the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, making the house an ideal base for hiking, sightseeing and sunrise adventures.

Downtown Joshua Tree is approximately five minutes away by car, with coffee shops, restaurants, galleries, shops and the Joshua Tree Visitor Center all within easy reach.

Casa Del Rio feels wonderfully secluded, but it isn’t difficult to reach. You’ll enjoy 20 private acres and expansive desert views while remaining just five minutes from downtown Joshua Tree. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is not required.

Booking directly allows you to avoid the guest service fees typically charged by third-party platforms. You’ll receive the same five-star property and personal support while communicating directly with us, the owners.

Yes. Payments are securely processed through Stripe, and our identity and hosting information have been verified. You’ll receive an automatic confirmation and receipt after completing your reservation.

Check-in is available from 4 p.m., and check-out is by 11 a.m. Detailed arrival instructions will be sent shortly before your stay.

If no guests are checking out on the morning of your arrival, we may be able to offer an earlier check-in. We’ll confirm availability as your stay approaches.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer late check-outs. Our cleaning and property-management teams work within a limited window to prepare the house for incoming guests.

Yes. The indoor kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals, and the outdoor kitchen includes a six-burner grill, sink and refrigerator. You’ll also find several coffee-making options and essential cookware.

The property includes a resort-style pool with a Baja shelf, an in-ground spa, outdoor kitchen, wraparound deck, outdoor shower, four hammocks, multiple lounge areas and two fire pits, one gas and one wood-burning.

Yes. The property’s secluded location and dark-sky-friendly lighting create excellent conditions for stargazing. The exterior lights can be turned off, and we provide a telescope for guests to enjoy.

Yes. A universal electric-vehicle charger is available on the property for guest use.

No. Casa Del Rio is designed for peaceful stays, family trips and small celebrations among registered guests. Parties, weddings, events and unregistered visitors are not permitted. The maximum occupancy is six guests.
